1. What this service does

Vision Parking Systems LLC ("VPS," "we," "us") provides the technology that lets you pay for parking at participating locations: the payment page you reach by scanning a code on the lot signage, the record of your parking session, and the license-plate recognition and enforcement tools the property uses.

The parking itself is provided by the property owner or operator, not by VPS. Their posted rules, hours, rates, and restrictions govern your use of the lot. We process your payment and record your session; we do not own, control, patrol, or guarantee access to any parking space.

2. Your license plate is your ticket

Enter your license plate exactly as it appears on your vehicle. Your plate is the only thing linking your payment to your car. If you mistype it, park a different vehicle than the one you entered, or pay for the wrong location, our cameras and patrols will have no record that your vehicle is paid — and it may be cited or towed by the property. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

If you notice a mistake, contact us right away at support@visionparking.net. We can often correct a plate on an active session before enforcement sees it.

3. Parking sessions

You buy a fixed block of time. Your session starts when your payment completes, not when you arrived.
Sessions do not renew automatically. When your time runs out, it runs out. If you need longer, purchase another session before the first expires.
Paying does not reserve or guarantee a space, a particular stall, or that a space will be available when you arrive.
Paying does not exempt you from the property's other rules — fire lanes, reserved or accessible stalls, permit-only areas, posted time limits, and tow-away zones still apply, and violating them can still get your vehicle cited or towed.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Square, Inc. Card details are entered on Square's hosted checkout page and are never received or stored by VPS. Prices shown at checkout are what you will be charged. Applicable taxes and fees, where they apply, are shown before you pay.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Validation codes

Some properties issue validation codes that reduce or waive the parking fee. Codes are provided by the property or its merchants, not by VPS, and may be limited in number, in time, or to specific locations. A code that has expired, reached its usage limit, or does not belong to the location you are paying for will be declined at checkout.

6. Enforcement and citations

Participating properties enforce parking using license-plate recognition cameras, vehicle-mounted patrol equipment, and on-foot attendants. If a vehicle has no active paid session, or its session has expired beyond the property's grace period, the property may issue a citation.

Citations are issued by, and payable to, the property or its enforcement agent under their authority — not by VPS as a governmental fine. If you receive one, you can view it and submit a dispute using the citation number and license plate at the address printed on the notice. Disputes are decided by the property or its agent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

enter a license plate that is not on the vehicle you are parking;
use validation codes you were not given, or share them beyond their intended use;
attempt to access, probe, scrape, or disrupt the service or its interfaces; or
use the service to harass or impersonate anyone.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Cameras, networks, and payment processors can fail; if the service is unavailable, follow the instructions posted at the location.

VPS is not responsible for your vehicle or its contents — including theft, damage, towing, or booting. Those are matters between you and the property owner or operator.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VPS's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to VPS for the parking session giving rise to the claim. VPS is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you pay governs that session. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
